Ring main

A ring distribution system consists of a closed loop of piping that runs around a building or facility and leads back into itself.

At various points in the ring, consumption points such as faucets, taps, or connections for machinery are connected. Water flows continuously in a circuit through the pipes, supplying the different consumption points.
